We're always seeking volunteers to assist with animal care shifts, admin work, and adoption events! No matter your talents, we can use your help.

Foster

Foster homes are there to care for our pets while they await their forever homes. Whether you can only temporarily foster or you can foster long-term, we can use your help.

We don't receive government funding, so we rely on the generosity of our community to support our cause. All donations are tax-deductible and greatly appreciated.

About us

Take Me Home Pet Rescue (TMHPR), of Richardson, Texas was founded in 2008 to meet the growing needs of the homeless pet population. City shelters were becoming more and more crowded and there was a strong need for a no-kill, foster-based rescue in the area. TMHPR has saved over 3,300 animals with a budget of just $250,000 per year.
